Fontainebleau Las Vegas: AV, rigging, loading and permits N105 | https://glmedia.tech/technical-help/fontainebleau-las-vegas-av-rigging-carga-permisos/ Fontainebleau Las Vegas publishes contractor policies and the Bleau Book for its convention facilities. Planning depends on the contracted room and level. This guide covers meetings and conventions, not BleauLive Theater or an approved event setup. Identify the room, level and floor plan; book the dock and elevator route with the Event Manager. Encore controls rigging, power and event networking; the documents distinguish outside production from exclusive services. Submit schedules and drawings for review before moving equipment. 1. Building and scope Confirm the Conference Center room name, level and configuration. The Bleau Book and contractor policies cover meeting and event spaces; BleauLive Theater needs its own documentation. Do not transfer capacities or specifications between spaces. 2. Rooms, floors and loads The official chart gives area live loads of 100 to 200 psf; levels 4 and 6 show 200 psf, while Waterbleau Terrace and Moonstone Event Center show 100 psf. It also marks levels 2M and 3 without freight access. Confirm the room limit and whole transport path: these figures do not authorize point loads, wheels, stages or suspension. 3. AV and rigging Encore is the preferred production provider for general sessions, exhibitions and social events; its labor and equipment are exclusive in meeting and breakout rooms. The policy reserves all rigging, including floor-supported truss, to Encore and prohibits hanging from operable-wall tracks or sprinklers. Outside equipment and labor need Encore review. Service | Published rule | Action Rigging | Encore exclusive | Review plot and loads Meetings and breakouts | Encore AV exclusive | Define scope General session | Encore preferred | Agree outside production Network and power | Encore exclusive | Order services 4. Power and connectivity Encore exclusively provides event electrical distribution and internet services. The complimentary Wi-Fi described in the Bleau Book is for browsing and email; do not treat it as a registration or streaming network. Prepare circuits, demand, cable routes, VLAN and tests with the provider before the event. 5. Docks and elevators The 6 shared docks need reservations and accept trailers up to 53 feet, according to the policy. Every event space needs an elevator on the load-in route. There is no overnight truck parking or marshaling yard. Give the Event Manager the in/out sequence and verify the elevator and dimensions for each item. Step | Document requires | Confirm Dock | Booking and slot | Event Manager Elevator | Room-specific route | Items and weight Floor | Protection before loading | Material and owner Move-out | Scheduled window | Carrier 6. Coordination and protection Outside production must submit a detailed schedule 90 days before load-in. The contractor lead communicates load-in/out windows 30 days ahead and the roster 3 business days ahead. An Encore supervisor is present during load-in/out. Protect carpet and surfaces before moving equipment and use nonmarking wheels. 7. Drawings and authority For events with 300 or more attendees, the policy requires a Clark County Fire Department-approved diagram. Candles, flames, pyrotechnics, vehicles and certain booths have separate requirements. If Encore prepares the submission, request it at least 60 days ahead; when the organizer submits, provide the approved drawing to Encore and the Event Manager at least 7 days ahead. Later changes need renewed review. 8. Review package Gather the contract, room and level, partition, audience and egress plan, AV and rigging plot with loads, power and network distribution, freight items, elevator route, dock slots, floor protection, effects and responsible parties. Track answers from the Event Manager, Encore, organizer and CCFD separately; general documents do not replace event approval. May an outside production company participate? The policy calls Encore the preferred provider for general sessions, exhibits and social events, while reserving specific meeting-room, rigging, power and network services for Encore. Agree the outside production scope with Encore and the Event Manager before pricing. Does a floor-load value authorize a structure? No. Area live-load values are not point loads or an approved rigging plan. Ask Encore and the Event Manager to check the room, level, transport route and specific setup. Reviewed October 18, 2026.
