Production power Markey’s calls itself the exclusive in-house electrical provider and responsible for approving and supplying three-phase connections in ballrooms, meeting rooms and foyers. Size circuits and distribution per device, cable route and redundancy; 2026 published prices establish neither power availability nor assignment. 5. Network and streaming The 2026 sheet identifies Markey’s as exclusive provider of voice, wired/wireless data and related cabling in meeting areas. Routers, streaming and similar uses on shared internet require prior approval from hotel IT and Markey’s. Order bandwidth and connections for control, video and registration; guest Wi-Fi does not establish production capability. 6. Dock and route The hotel-listed loading dock document is dated 2016. It describes E. 3rd Street access and shared bays/freight elevators, but hours, dimensions, ratings and restrictions may have changed. Request current plan, route, window and protection from the Event Manager before booking trucks. Record Markey’s, hotel, organizer and authority responses separately and resubmit changes. Can an outside production crew attach a motor to the ceiling? Not under the 2026 sheet. Markey’s supplies motors, truss, hardware and rigging labor, makes ceiling attachments and approves the design. Outside production may assemble/disassemble truss only under a specific arrangement with Markey’s. Can shared internet carry a stream without approval? The 2026 sheet does not grant that.
