Model and application
LU960UST laser DLP, WUXGA 1920 × 1200. This is not LU960ST, LU960ST2, or LU960UST+. Plan around the actual cabinet and orientation.

- Fixed throw 0.25, without variable optical zoom. Verify size, height, and clearances in the manual’s drawing, rather than a generic wall distance.

- HDMI input and output and HDBaseT; separate control LAN. Identify each connector’s function before cabling.
System preparation
- Define useful image area, bottom height, and equipment space outside walkways.
- Use manual references A/B/C to position cabinet and screen; test before fixing the installation.
- Align physically, display a pattern, and focus after at least 15 minutes of continuous projection.
- Test content, audio, and each conversion with planned lighting and circulation.
Planning questions
Does throw 0.25 tell me the cabinet-to-wall distance?
Not on its own. The manual distinguishes projector-to-image height, cover-glass center to screen, and cabinet front to screen. We size the whole installation using that drawing and the chosen image size.
Can I use a roll-up screen or any ALR surface?
Check flatness and compatibility with the direction of incoming light. An ALR label does not establish suitability for these optics. Compare an appropriate surface with TV or LED if projection conditions cannot be met.
Can people walk beside the projector?
Map cabinet, cables, ventilation, and beam to preserve circulation and avoid direct viewing or shadows. If placement interferes, assess another installation or technology; short distance does not remove those clearances.
How do I address text that is blurry along one edge?
Allow warm-up and check pattern/focus. Check flatness, leveling, and placement before corner correction; if it persists, record the affected area without assuming a laser fault.
Can I connect HDBaseT to the network switch?
HDBaseT and LAN are not interchangeable because they use RJ45. Specify a compatible transmitter, format, and cable, then test the complete path before quoting it as a solution.
What should I hire for a restricted space?
Date, photos, and content let us compare projector/surface with display or LED. The proposal can cover equipment, signal, placement, setup, and operation; start with approximate measurements and confirm accessories and availability.

Use and safety
Do not look into or obstruct the beam; do not open the laser assembly.
