Harlequin Liberty: modular dance floor on a temporary stage

Identify floor version, finish and stage documentation before planning the dance-floor combination.

Identity and package

This guide is limited to metric Liberty in portable use: birch-plywood panels and elastomer supports, with a separately selected performance finish. Liberty HD, Switch and US LatchLoc require their own documentation.

Choose the event system

For a performance, define discipline, footwear, usable area and edge clearance with the company. Compare a floor-level room installation with a platform whose height addresses audience sightlines. Additional height also requires resolved access.

On a temporary stage, request plans for both systems: continuous base, floor footprint, added weight, transitions and access. Deck approval does not automatically approve Liberty and dance use above it. Each supplier must review its scope and the interface before assembly.

Preparation and receiving

Agree panels, finish, edges and a layout for the portable variant.
The portable guide specifies two-person handling and protecting joints.
Include storage, route, staffing and installation window in the proposal.

It is the selected sprung floor. Specify and review a separate supporting stage when elevation is needed.

Select the finish with the company and supplier for the activity; the panel alone is not the entire proposal.

Do not transfer it automatically. Use portable-application instructions and delivered references.

What if a joint will not close?

Hold that section and document parts and position for review. Do not force or trim it to meet the schedule.

What can we quote?

Portable flooring with installation, rental by performance or purchase for repeated use, subject to scope and availability. Date, venue, discipline and approximate dimensions start the assessment.
