Model and connections
EON712 offers two combo inputs, an XLR mix output and Bluetooth playback. JBL Pro Connect control and audio pairing are separate functions. Confirm each source’s power needs and actual output.

Record sources, inputs, master and settings. Check words and pauses from several seats; if the back lacks clarity, assess placement or distribution before raising the entire room.

Questions and decisions
Can I connect a microphone and laptop without a mixer?
It may work if compatible inputs and available control cover the program. At low levels, test each source separately, balance speech and playback, then check transitions. For more microphones, monitor mixes or independent recording, assess an external mixer. A connector adapter does not guarantee a suitable signal.
Is Bluetooth suitable for conference video playback?
Prepare a wired path first and test the actual video, checking speech and picture through the complete system. If out of sync, compare wired and Bluetooth paths using the same file and video output. Also check player and display: do not assume a fixed latency without measurement. Have an operating alternative before the audience arrives.
