How should a conference be prepared?
Assign microphone/video through suitable inputs or console. Check each source/destination at protected level; record gain, mute, preset/EQ and delay. Listen near/rear and rehearse transitions. Preserve local access and recoverable settings if the app is unavailable. We can assess mixing, distribution or operator support when sources/zones exceed the planned mix.
Why do two PRX912 units sound different?
Change one variable using a common known source/cable: input, level, processing, delay, limiting, firmware and position. A source-following difference needs path correction; a cabinet-following difference under comparable settings/conditions needs service evidence. Do not update/reset both during the show or copy settings for different roles.
