Model and connections
Use compatible physical audio inputs; JBL Pro Connect adjusts settings over BLE. Identify source, output, cable, input and destination before changing levels.
Prepare and check
Plan speech/DJ priorities, transitions and backup playback. Share audience distance, zones, sources and bass needs; an external mixer or different speaker layout may be preferable to more volume.

Questions and decisions
Is one PRX915 enough for speeches and dancing?
Separate intelligible speech, background music and dance-floor needs. Check speech and tracks near the front and back; if the front becomes excessive before the back is clear, review distribution. A subwoofer can extend a demanding music system; it does not replace speech coverage or establish a guaranteed audience count.
If the app disconnects, is the audio lost too?
First check whether the wired source still reaches the local input meter. If audio continues, operate the LCD and controls while investigating the control link separately. If silent, check source, cable, input, mute and levels individually. BLE control does not turn the phone into a wireless audio source.
