Model and connections
K.2 manual: A MIC/LINE, B HI-Z/LINE and C3.5mm stereo. THRU and MIX OUT have different gain relationships. Identify source/destination; never feed amplifier speaker power into audio inputs.
Prepare and check
Identify K10.2 and firmware; use documented supports/configuration. Map source→input→output/destination, rehearse transitions and document recovery to the tested state.
We can assess rental, purchase, integration or support. Start with date, venue, program and approximate sources; quantities, compatibility, availability and terms are confirmed in the proposal.
Questions and decisions
How should speech and video be prepared?
Count simultaneous sources and assign compatible inputs; an adapter does not turn laptop stereo into balanced mono. Test speech alone and the actual video at protected levels, watch signal/clip and compare near/rear. Save preset, EQ, delay and sub filter first. If the rear lacks coverage while the front is excessive, review placement/distribution before raising level.
Does a monitor preset create a stage mix?
No. Prepare separate feeds when presenter and audience need different content. THRU or MIX OUT can share signals but do not create an independent balance. Review microphone pattern/placement, then suitable preset and feed content. Check stage and audience; we can assess extra console feeds, another cabinet or operation support.
