StageRight ME-500: supports, decks and stage receiving
Identify the ME-500 support and a complete package; resolve unevenness or missing parts before releasing the assembly.
Identity and package
ME-500 is a StageRight folding understructure. Decks are selected and supplied separately. This article uses support 319536 in the linked official packet as its reference; other references require checking their own data.
Choose the event system
For a corporate presentation, draw furniture and access on the usable area. Separate support, identified decks, protection, finish and transport when comparing quotes. If height or access does not suit the room, compare another documented reference or a floor-level layout.
At receiving, compare quantities and references with the drawing before assembly. If a level mismatch or missing retention part appears, keep the area unloaded and separated from the public; record location and photos for supplier correction or replacement. A missing component may also require changing the program or usable area.
Preparation and receiving
- Record support, deck, locator and accessory references; obtain the assembly layout.
- Measure doors, turns and storage; agree handling and floor protection with the venue.
- Trained personnel must check retention, deck seating and jam nuts against the manual before handover.
Questions and solutions
Are decks included with the support?
Request separate line items. ME-500 identifies the support; a complete offer must identify actual decks and accessories. Similar dimensions do not confirm another brand’s deck.
Can an improvised shim resolve unevenness?
Do not use it to release the assembly. With the area unloaded, the responsible team must compare floor, adjustments and components with the manual and layout. An adjustable support establishes neither soil bearing capacity nor a repair for a damaged part.
What if a deck will not seat?
Identify support and deck, locator position/condition and fasteners while unloaded. Do not force seating or adapt hardware. The manual requires genuine replacement parts for damaged equipment; confirm the reference before reuse.
Can we apply the ME-3750 procedure?
ME-500 and ME-3750 are different supports. Do not transfer the other family’s caster handling to this support. Compare a fixed solution with a documented rolling system only if the program needs movement.
What should we send for a quote?
Date, venue, use and approximate size or height are enough to start. Include access photos and existing equipment if available. We can separate supply, installation and changeover support; references, responsibilities and availability are confirmed in the proposal.
