LED rental planning guide
1.9 mm LED totem rental options
Ask GLMedia about 1.9 mm LED totems for trade shows and events. We review portrait content, playback, combined displays, and alternatives.
What we can help plan
Share the event date, location, and intended use so we can review options, availability, and configuration. You can contact us before dimensions, drawings, or final content are ready.
This family can be considered for product messaging, schedules, and digital signage. We compare the actual variant and content with finer-pitch options; the choice depends on the intended result and space.
A commercial 1.9 label may refer to a published 1.95 mm pitch. As a documented example, the PAD LINK 2.0 v1.0.1 brochure lists a variant with a 500 × 2000 mm active area and a 256 × 1024 pixel matrix, giving a 1:4 aspect ratio. This is a brochure example, not a confirmed rental configuration.
Choosing the system
- Canvas
- We confirm the pixel matrix and active area: a portrait totem may have a different aspect ratio from a vertical social media video.
- Combined units
- We define whether each screen will show independent content or form a continuous image. Physical joining does not establish synchronization.
- Content and signal
- Stored files, scheduled playlists, and live feeds are separate functions; available features depend on the exact controller and player.
What you can share
Share the approximate quantity, location, and whether the displays need to show the same content. A screenshot is enough to start reviewing adaptation.
Moving the proposal forward
- Agree on the purpose of each unit and the audience route.
- Confirm the active dimensions, pixel matrix, and documentation revision of the offered system.
- Prepare a sample with the intended framing, without stretching logos or cropping text.
- Test full content and combined control if the proposal includes multiple units.
Questions to help you choose
Will a vertical social media video fit unchanged?
It may need an adapted version. We compare the file aspect ratio with the native canvas to choose framing, margins, or a new composition.
Can totems be joined into a wider screen?
Only when the model, joining system, and controller support it. We also review seams, supports, and image continuity; the supported quantity is confirmed for the proposed variant.
How do I choose between this family and a finer pitch?
We compare readability, distance, lighting, active area, and content. We can help before final artwork exists; pitch alone does not determine the result or price.
Useful checks
| What you notice | What to check | What it helps determine |
|---|---|---|
| Large margins or cropping | File and canvas aspect ratios. | Adapt the composition. |
| Discontinuity between units | Control, playback, and synchronization. | Define the combined system. |
| Conflicting product variants | Label, revision, and current data sheet. | Quote an identified configuration. |
Installation and operating conditions
We confirm the exact base, joining components, and transport arrangements before planning combined units. A sales brochure does not replace the installation manual.
For public circulation, we review positioning, cables, and service access. Front protection alone does not establish weather resistance for the complete system.
Independent displays or one continuous image
For signage across several areas, each totem may need different content. A panoramic image requires defining unit order and the complete canvas before distributing the content.
Artixium distinguishes when external control is required by PAD LINK 2.0 variant and quantity. We therefore confirm the assembly before promising a particular expansion.
Review the playback path
Tell us whether you want a playlist or a live presentation feed. We review source, player, inputs, and combined control without assuming a function is included from a connector name.
The test should cover sequence start and end, content changes, and continuity across screens. If fallback content is needed, we agree on how it will be selected on that system.
Prepare a comparable inquiry
You can inquire with a tentative quantity and space sketch. We can compare distributed totems, a continuous assembly, or another screen aspect ratio against your goal.
When reviewing the proposal, distinguish image area, support, control, transport, content adaptation, and operation. This helps compare configurations serving the same use.
