Portable effects bar with tripod, wireless footswitch and RF remote. It can run standalone programs and coordinate ILS fixtures. Identify region and revision before loading a profile.

Prepare your rental inquiry

Specify equipment only or whether setup, programming, operation and strike are also needed. Scope is confirmed in the proposal.

You do not need a final equipment list: tell us the result you want and the part you need help with. Availability and scope are confirmed in the proposal.

Features and connections

Heads have separate color and gobo wheels; PARs combine RGBAW+UV. DMX uses 3-pin XLR, and D-Fi provides TX/RX functions.

The official repository separates US and EU firmware. It lists V2.10 US with DMX laser-pattern control and V2.10 EU with improved sound response; do not interchange files or infer compatibility from version number alone.

Prepare the system

  1. Match nameplate, region, startup version and manual. The page specifies 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz; use grounded power without a dimmer. Confirm voltage and power linking on the unit: page and manual list different limits.
  2. Secure a stable tripod, balanced load and fixation screw. Overhead installation requires qualified personnel, load-rated hardware and secondary retention.
  3. Under DMX > DMX select personality, then Address. Confirm with ENTER and reserve the full footprint. Do not connect a standalone master to a console-controlled line.

Questions and troubleshooting

Do PARs work while moving heads respond to the wrong controls?

A profile for another region or revision can shift channels after the laser.

  1. Compare the manual chart with the profile, beyond fixture name and channel count.
  2. In US Rev. 13, 51CH mode, laser uses 32–33 and heads start at 34 and 43. In EU Rev. 13, 52CH mode, laser uses 32–34 and heads start at 35 and 44.
  3. With laser output disabled and the area clear, check pan, tilt, shutter and dimmer separately. Copy the profile before editing; resetting the fixture does not repair the patch.
Does the footswitch or remote fail or trigger another bar?

FOOT and RF have separate settings and pairing.

  1. Check footswitch power and its 9 V battery; the RF remote uses a 23A 12 V battery. Test nearby without obstructions.
  2. Under SETUP > FOOT or RF, check OFF, COMMON and BIND. COMMON accepts compatible controls without exclusive pairing; BIND requires the paired control.
  3. Use FOOT Binding while holding the Blackout pedal, or RF Binding while holding BLACK OUT, for the appropriate accessory. Check Black Out before other commands and prepare for output when canceling it.
Does the show change when music or DMX stops?

Sound loss and DMX loss are different conditions.

  1. Under SOUND > Sound Lost, check Slow, Freeze or Blackout and test a controlled pause without exposing the public.
  2. The manual specifies holding the last state on DMX loss and blacking out in Master/Slave. Do not assume disconnecting the cable provides a safe blackout.
  3. Use a wired DMX test to isolate the link. With D-Fi, match TX/RX and channel; record version and settings before considering appropriate regional firmware.

Quick reference

512-channel universe: last start = 512 − channels + 1. Footprint calculation, not a guarantee of menu range.
