An LED profile fixture for lighting people, scenery and patterns with controlled edges. Results depend on the fitted lens tube and accessories. Confirm Series 2 Lustr identity: the color map differs from other Source Four LED variants.

Prepare your rental inquiry

Specify equipment only or whether setup, programming, operation and strike are also needed. Scope is confirmed in the proposal.

You do not need a final equipment list: tell us the result you want and the part you need help with. Availability and scope are confirmed in the proposal.

Features and connections

The x7 system mixes red, lime, amber, green, cyan, blue and indigo. Shutters shape the beam; the separately selected lens tube determines the field.

Check whether the assembly has a shutter barrel for a fixed lens or a body configured for zoom. Do not assume a lens, clamp or adapter is included.

The rear panel separates Power, DMX and Error indicators. A lit display does not establish correct profile reception.

Prepare the system

  1. Select optics, support and secondary retention for the complete assembly. Secure accessories and keep ventilation clear.
  2. Connect non-dimmable power and the DMX source to In. Record address, Quick Setup, profile, Strobe, Plus Seven and Fan Mode before repatching.
  3. Use Focus in Presets & Sequences for focusing and turn it off afterward. Selecting another Quick Setup can change several parameters together.

Questions and troubleshooting

Powered on, but not following the patch?

Separate data reception from channel matching first.

  1. Check the DMX indicator and test a known source and cable with an isolated fixture. If local control also fails, record Error and refer to support.
  2. Match the profile and enabled options to the console personality; reserve the complete footprint shown by the fixture. Do not count colors alone.
  3. For Direct with Strobe and fan control, the reference is 10 channels: intensity at 8, strobe at 9 and fan at 10. Check the full map before output.
Does output remain when the console disconnects?

Losing the desk does not always mean losing data at the fixture.

  1. During a planned test, identify nodes, other sources and master/local control. Do not unplug an active show line to troubleshoot.
  2. Check Data Loss: Instant blacks out on data loss; HLL options retain the last state for their selected period. Confirm the setting for the installed version.
  3. Check presets and sequences. Quick Color works without external DMX and restores the earlier state on exit; leaving that menu does not cancel every local state.
Do matching values produce different colors on two Lustr fixtures?

Match configuration and conditions before correcting a palette.

  1. Record firmware, profile, calibration, optics and output mode on each fixture. Compare on the same surface at a moderate level.
  2. ETC introduced calibrated Direct in v1.8.1 for Series 2. Confirm it is available and selected; matching color can still require manual intensity adjustment.
  3. If differences persist or develop with temperature, save messages and conditions for support. Do not open the primary optic or update firmware during a performance.
