FENIX AT-06: front loading, access and setup planning
Assess how equipment is picked up and positioned from floor level as well as its final height.
Identification and application
AT-06 is a FENIX Stage front-loading tower; selection and use require the manual matching the unit. AT-06B and COMPACT variants are reviewed separately; similar names do not establish shared dimensions or attachments.
Start with how the load reaches the setup position. If a lighting bar or structure needs lifting from floor level, describe its approximate dimensions, final position and room access. We can compare a front-loading tower with another way of installing that equipment. The quote separates tower and attachments, transport, installation and assistance; the assembly is confirmed against the actual equipment and documents.
Prepare the proposal
- Describe load, attachment and its center relative to the tower. Include accessories and cables rather than selecting only by total weight or target height.
- Measure route, doors, turns and deployed operating area. Separate transport, load pickup and final position with defined circulation and work zones.
- Confirm transport dimensions and unit details before booking transport. The responsible team must compare the nameplate, serial number, manual, inspection and attachments with the project and schedule the pre-use tests and inspections required by the manual. Their results must be recorded before use.
Questions and alternatives
Is a light load always permitted?
Being below the maximum is insufficient. The manual includes minimum-load, positioning and operating conditions. Request review of the actual assembly before selecting it.
Can it move slightly with the load elevated?
The AT-06 manual prohibits movement with an elevated load. Define the work position first; any relocation sequence is planned by the responsible team under the manual, without improvised adjustments.
If the ballroom changes from a conference to an awards event, send the program showing planned position changes, setup, rehearsal and audience-entry times, and a sketch of the affected areas. We can compare positions established during the initial setup or another documented solution and separate installation, assistance and hotel coordination in the proposal. The responsible team must confirm the method and time required; a gap in the program does not establish that the change can be completed.
Will any adapter work for an LED wall or truss?
No. The task needs documented attachment references, interface and configuration. We can compare another complete solution when the requested combination cannot be confirmed.
What if a section or lock does not respond?
Stop the operation and control the area under the responsible team’s procedure. Identify the unit, the operating stage and what you observed for technical review. Do not strike the mechanism, bypass locks or try to release a jam under load.
