Nameplate review
Distro nameplate: separate input, outputs, and rating
A readable nameplate photo can resolve more than a connector list. Record the manufacturer’s declaration for the unit separately from component ratings.
What to identify
Copy manufacturer, model, serial number, voltage, frequency, current, and stated configuration without converting units or filling missing fields. Associate each value with its actual label.
Lex’s PowerHOUSE manual distinguishes input, outputs, and feed-through. Use that distinction to request the actual model’s functional diagram, without assuming identical protection or internal paths across units.
Prepare your inquiry
- Overall and close-up nameplate and label photos with readable values and units.
- Model and configuration documentation, including revision or recorded changes.
- Equipment and destination list, with venue-provided supply data.
Limit this review to external identification of equipment taken out of service and secured de-energized by competent personnel. Do not open enclosures or handle contacts. Damage, a burning smell, or a protective-device trip calls for stopping use and requesting review; do not repeatedly reset it.
Alternatives to compare
Compare documented unit data and required outputs rather than adding outlet values. If label scope is unclear, request provider clarification before defining the proposal.
Technical questions
Does a 250 V label prove there is 250 V at the output?
It does not establish present voltage. It may state a component or equipment rating. Supply and configuration require documentation and competent verification.
Can outlet ratings be added to find total capacity?
No. Input, protection, and assembly limits require their own review; adding outlet ratings does not define allowable demand.
What if two labels show different values?
Photograph both and record their locations and references. They may describe different parts; resolve the difference through the manual and provider rather than choosing a convenient value.
Location and supply
Include the country, city, and venue. For the United States, request service details from the venue; for Argentina, obtain documentation for the local supply. Do not transfer voltage assumptions, color conventions, or requirements between countries. Installation review and commissioning require competent personnel under the applicable jurisdiction.

Connector references help identify a family. A component’s rating does not establish the rating of the complete distribution unit.
