Cryo‑Fog High Pressure: low fog and effect duration
Plan the system and rehearse the scene without promising fog will always remain at floor level.
Proposed test, scope and alternatives
This page covers Cryo‑Fog High Pressure. Documentation requires liquid CO₂ from a siphon-tube cylinder; Low Pressure is a different variant. The manufacturer specifies Cryo‑Fog Fluid for low fog. Confirm label, hose and supply assembly with the technical lead.
Continuous production does not guarantee a stationary layer or fixed stage duration. We propose testing density, height and dispersal during the actual cue with expected ventilation/movement.
- Agree on effect, cue duration and performer/audience routes. Review venue permission/detection and competent ventilation/CO₂ assessment; do not disable alarms.
- Specify exact system, consumables, supply and operation with the provider. Do not interchange High/Low Pressure components or infer electrical capacity from a trade name.
- Separate fog generation and cooling in rehearsal records. Check readiness/control mode under the manual before demanding low fog.
- Test actual positions, doors and HVAC. Record height, coverage and dispersal from camera/floor while keeping access routes visible.
- If fog rises, review conditions/cooling with the technician. Higher flow does not prove a fix. Agree on a no-fog alternative and manual-specific shutdown/disconnection.
Start with your date, venue and approximate needs. We can assess equipment, configuration and operation within an agreed scope.
Will it stay on the floor for the entire song?
Rehearsal is required. Air, movement, temperature and geometry affect results; the machine alone cannot guarantee persistence.
Do High/Low Pressure use the same supply?
Do not assume so. Verify exact label, manual and connections.
Can it generate fog without low fog?
Yes. Generation and cooling differ. Check mode/conditions before diagnosing failure.
What can you offer?
We can assess low-fog system, consumables, control, rehearsal/operator or visual alternatives. Send date, venue, duration and reference; feasibility and scope need confirmation.
