Prolyte H30D: orientation, connections and structure proposal

Prepare a triangular truss line for lighting or scenery and distinguish a section from the complete assembly.

Identification and application

The documented reference is H30D-L100, a 1 m Prolyte triangular section with CCS6 connection. It does not identify a complete tower or establish another series through shared connectors. The specific X/H30 Part 2 manual, Issue 1 of July 2023, includes H30D and is used with general Part 1 instructions.

For a conference, we can compare a suspended line with another equipment layout or a complete alternative system. Start with the intended effect, approximate width and height, screens, lights and audience routes. Supply, installation and assistance can be discussed before quantities are finalized.

Prepare the proposal

  1. Sketch the triangular section and intended orientation, supports and each load position, including hardware and cables. Separate module length from distance between supports.
  2. Identify sections, corners and connector, pin and clip references; link labels and inspection records to each piece. Retain uncertain identity as an open item in the proposal.
  3. Give the designer the sketch and load list to assess the applicable case. Orientation, support or added-surface changes return for review before installation.

Questions and alternatives

Can the triangle be rotated to hide cables?

The chart is conditional on the shown orientation and static simple-span case. Record the proposed rotation for assessment rather than retaining the previous allowance. We can investigate another cable route or complete system without choosing by appearance.

Does a corner allow use of the same beam chart?

That information is insufficient. Document geometry and supports for qualified calculation. L100 does not define the clear span or allow section capacities to be added.

What if a pin does not align?

Keep the connection unloaded and isolate affected pieces for reference and condition checks. Do not alter holes or force the joint. We can assess documented supply or an alternative assembly while inspection is resolved.

Is a final drawing needed for a quote?

No. Provide the date, venue and task with approximate dimensions. We can organize options and missing information. Execution requires complete components, loads, supports and approved project documents; an initial inquiry does not confirm stock or release the installation.
