Prolyte H40V: review changes to the structure and equipment

Compare a proposal that changes from graphics to lighting, identifying H40V-L100, connections and the complete load case.

Identification and application

H40V is a Prolyte square truss series with CCS6. H40V-L100 is a 1 m section; this guide does not cover Verto. Changing series requires review of geometry, parts and documentation as well as equipment.

Prepare the information

  1. Separate the original and revised plans: locations, weights, accessories, cables and added surfaces.
  2. Identify sections, corners, connections and supports. Ask the venue for point documentation if suspension is proposed.
  3. Arrange review of the complete case before confirming installation; keep missing information clearly identified.

Questions and alternatives

Is adding fixtures just a quotation change?

No. Mark what is added and where, including hardware and cables. We can compare lighting layouts or study another system, but an executable proposal needs review of loads, supports and connections. Graphics also introduce actions that must be described.

Does H40V automatically replace H30V?

It is not a proportional section substitution. Compare complete configurations, dimensions and documents for each series. Shared CCS6 connections do not prove that any combination makes the intended assembly, or establish equivalence with Verto.

Does a higher table value permit more equipment anywhere?

Tables describe defined cases, not an unrestricted weight allowance. Span, orientation, supports and distribution must match; corners or cantilevers need another case. Independent maxima are not additive, and a European table is not local approval.

What if we only know the lighting effect we want?

Start with visual references, the date, location and area to light. We can compare positions and equipment scope before fixing brands and quantities. Missing weights and attachments must be resolved before final design.

Can a tight connection be corrected on site?

Unload and isolate the affected connection. Identify parts and visible condition; do not drill, grind or force them into alignment. Obtain inspection and the manufacturer’s criteria for the actual reference before use.

Can equipment and installation be quoted separately?

Yes. We can assess supply of an identified assembly and installation, removal or technical support scopes. Define who provides components, documents and venue coordination. Rental, purchase and availability are confirmed in the proposal; an inquiry does not approve installation.
