Identification and application
The selected reference is S36R-L100, a 1 m Prolyte rectangular section with CCS7. S36R and S36V are distinct variants. The specific document is S36 Part 2, DN00170 Issue 1, July 2023, used together with Part 1.
For a show, separate the structural function from available material. We can assess complete supply or supplementing an identified assembly, comparing geometry, transport, supports and documents before choosing by nominal size.
Prepare the proposal
- Inventory each module and accessory: reference, generation or available identity, length, condition and history. Retain labels even when finishes or storage mix visually similar parts.
- Mark the proposed replacement on the original drawing and show adjacent connections. Include adapters, corners, supports and attached loads; describe missing replacement information.
- Request comparison with system documents and complete-assembly review before accepting the change. Condition, compatibility and design approval are different checks.
Questions and alternatives
Is CCS7 equivalent to CCS6 because the brand is the same?
No such equivalence is proposed. Provide assembly and connection references; we can compare documented parts or a complete alternative system without mixing hardware by appearance.
Does a same-length piece replace the missing section?
Length does not identify series, material, generation or connection. Record the pending replacement and request applicable confirmation. The quote can present another complete arrangement if the original piece cannot be resolved.
Can the S36V chart be used for S36R?
Data is not transferred between variants. The responsible designer must confirm the actual reference, orientation and support case. Values from documents using different design principles are not mixed either.
Can we start before identifying all the existing material?
Yes. Send the date, venue, task and available label photos or sketches. We can organize the survey and separate supply, inspection and installation in the proposal. Photos guide the inquiry but do not release suspect material for use.
