Lighting and control
Battery uplighting
Define color, placement and runtime for venue ambience with rental fixtures.
Ask GLMedia about a lighting rental solution for your event, subject to availability and technical requirements.
Using this guide
Uplighting lights walls, columns or details from below. Surface texture, color and ambient light affect the result.
Prepare your rental inquiry
- Date, city, venue and setup, event and pickup schedule.
- Intended use, area dimensions and equipment already supplied by the venue or production.
- Visual goal and problem to solve; venue plan or identified photos if available.
- Decisions already agreed with venue, production and video to assess a suitable solution.
Specify equipment only or whether setup, programming, operation and strike are also needed. Scope is confirmed in the proposal.
You do not need a final equipment list: tell us the result you want and the part you need help with. Availability and scope are confirmed in the proposal.
Features and connections
Request model and variant, optics, control, chargers and kit contents. A single fixture and a charging-case set are different supplies.
Prepare the system
- Test one unit on the actual wall before fixing quantity and spacing; check useful height, patches and ceiling spill.
- Choose color with the client on site; compare matching fixtures, correct profiles and charge status.
- Test the scene for the intended time with a test-defined reserve; prepare accessible replacement and local recovery.
Questions and troubleshooting
Does the brand color fail to match?
The wall and ambient light affect perceived color.
- Compare reference and result under the venue’s normal lighting; do not promise an exact match to a screen image.
- Check emitters: do not treat RGBA as RGBW. Save the approved mix.
Are there stripes or dark areas?
Spacing depends on more than room width.
- Test wall distance, tilt and compatible optics; check beam overlap.
- Adjust placement without blocking exits or dazzling seated guests; repeat with furniture in place.
Does the package include control and charging?
Confirm the actual supply before booking the rental.
- Request fixture count, compatible charging case/charger, transmitter or remote and receiver protocol.
- Check individual charge, link and scene runtime. Wireless does not automatically mean app control or compatibility with every radio.
Precautions
- Decorative uplighting does not replace emergency lighting or evaluated camera face light.
- Outdoor use and charging require manual-specific conditions; a battery does not imply universal water resistance.
- Keep fixtures stable, contacts protected and access available for event checks.
