PIXELHUE F4: cards, AUX and operator monitoring
Identify installed F4 cards before assigning confidence. A card mode can change which connectors carry independent images.
Program and confidence sources → F4: identified card and screen/AUX → Video port → compatible link → monitor
Show scenario
To add confidence alongside several show screens, check the installed unit and preset changes. Do not replace that review with a specification’s maximum connector count or F4 Lite features.
Verified connections and functions
| AUX | Specifications describe AUX screens and preset following. Check whether that behavior is wanted. |
|---|---|
| Supervision | Two dedicated MVR connectors are documented with fixed 1920×1080p60 format. |
| HDMI/OPT card | In the documented 4K HDMI2.0/OPT card, 4K mode makes both HDMI connectors carry the same content. |
Proposed setup and test
- Record full model, version, modules and connections. Save useful settings before changing the system.
- Complete one row per destination: content → source → device function → physical port → transport → monitor. Confirm full format and power at every stage.
- Test a known source and monitor directly first. Add the device and transport in stages, checking the detected format at each receiver.
- Test fine text, motion and audio when included. Rehearse the required content or source change and recovery off program.
- Save final settings and verify real content again. Define who changes each feed and which failure a backup path must cover.
Diagnosis and operation
If confidence changes with every preset, check its AUX relationship. For duplicated HDMI content, compare mode and card. With no MVR picture, verify monitor acceptance of its fixed format before altering the source.
Follow manufacturer ventilation and mounting requirements. Use the model’s procedure before servicing modules or power; opening, updating or resetting equipment is not a first diagnostic step.
Frequently asked questions
Do F4 and F4 Lite configure identically for every screen?
They are different variants. This page addresses F4; check labels, cards and model-specific documentation before transferring capabilities or limits.
Why do notes change when I recall an audience-screen preset?
The specification documents AUX following preset changes. Check the applied configuration and rehearse which screens each change includes. If confidence must remain fixed, verify that the selected routing and operation allow it.
What should I check before using MVR with an existing monitor?
Confirm that the monitor and intermediate devices accept MVR’s documented fixed 1920×1080p60 format. Then check readability and layout; changing the connection alone does not change that format.
