Frequently asked questions
Do you pay referral commissions?+
Referral arrangements are reviewed before the introduction. Tell us which company or project you are referring and what role you expect to have. If a commission is agreed, the written terms should identify the qualifying work, how the amount is calculated and when payment becomes due. An introduction alone does not establish a commission or authorize you to quote on GLMedia’s behalf.
Can you remain behind the scenes?+
Yes. We can arrange work under your brand or with both companies identified. Before the event, we agree who communicates with the client, how the crew is introduced and whose name appears on delivery documents. Your production company keeps the client relationship. We also name the on-site person who can approve changes so the crew has clear instructions during the job.
Do you support cruise and hospitality programs?+
We can review the access requirements before confirming the job. Send the port, terminal, ship or hotel contact, service entrance, credential deadlines and delivery windows. Security approval and access arrangements must come from the responsible authority or venue. We plan the equipment movement and crew schedule around those requirements, including the time allowed for unloading and removal.

Practical questions before you book
Can I book just equipment or one technical service?
Yes. You can request equipment only, delivery and pickup, setup and teardown, or an operator for a specific system. You do not need to book the entire AV production. Tell us what your team is already handling and where you need support. We confirm availability and put the equipment, crew responsibilities and schedule in the proposal so both teams know who handles each part.
Can I request a Portuguese-speaking technician?
You can request Portuguese-speaking support for planning, rehearsals or show operation. Tell us which roles need it and for how long: assisting a presenter during rehearsal is different from operating a system throughout the event. We confirm the language skills and availability of the assigned crew for your dates and agree who will coordinate communication between teams.
Do we need a site visit before confirming the AV setup?
Some projects can start from current plans and photographs. Restricted access, unusual screen shapes, outdoor structures or permanent installations may require a site visit and further technical review. Send what you have first; we will identify what cannot be confirmed remotely. The visit's timing, purpose and any charge should be agreed in advance.
