PIXELHUE P10: program, AUX and presentation confidence
Choose a P10 port by function and format. HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 1.3 outputs do not have the same documented limits.
Separate slides and Presenter View → P10: identified mode, source and output → Suitable HDMI → compatible transport → monitor
Show scenario
For a conference presentation and confidence screen, establish whether the presenter needs program or notes. Generate the second image on the computer and verify which P10 output can carry it without changing the audience display.
Verified connections and functions
| Output variants | The table identifies P10 HDMI 1.3 outputs with limits different from HDMI 2.0. Do not apply a family-level 4K figure to every port. |
|---|---|
| AUX and MVR | Documentation separates AUX connectors from the dedicated multiview connection. |
| Modes | The series documents switcher and PGM only; verify the mode before programming changes. |
Proposed setup and test
- Record full model, version, modules and connections. Save useful settings before changing the system.
- Complete one row per destination: content → source → device function → physical port → transport → monitor. Confirm full format and power at every stage.
- Test a known source and monitor directly first. Add the device and transport in stages, checking the detected format at each receiver.
- Test fine text, motion and audio when included. Rehearse the required content or source change and recovery off program.
- Save final settings and verify real content again. Define who changes each feed and which failure a backup path must cover.
Diagnosis and operation
For a rejected signal, identify the port and format first. For a grid on the monitor, check whether MVR was connected. Notes missing at the source cannot be restored by changing a cable.
Follow manufacturer ventilation and mounting requirements. Use the model’s procedure before servicing modules or power; opening, updating or resetting equipment is not a first diagnostic step.
Frequently asked questions
Does P10 HDMI 1.3 deliver the same signal as a 4K output?
Assume neither matching format nor content. Compare the port’s function and own limits with the monitor and active configuration.
How do I choose a port for an HDMI monitor I already own?
Identify the monitor’s input and supported formats, then compare them with the selected P10 port’s role and output format. Test a direct connection first; if adaptation is needed, verify that the path provides it.
What should I check if confidence shows a camera grid?
Check whether it is connected to MVR or receiving a multiview source. To show notes, generate that view on the computer and verify a supported video path separate from the operator’s monitoring.
