Intuit Dome: choose an event space and plan the AV
Intuit Dome offers a full arena and several event spaces built for very different formats. Its official event page describes built-in AV in some of them. Identifying the exact space helps shape an audio, video and camera brief around the program without assuming that one room’s conditions apply elsewhere.
Choose the space that fits the program
The venue presents its full arena for concerts and large events, Outdoor Plaza for activations and festivals, Court B for meetings, conferences and filming, and lounges, suites and ANNEX for other formats. Start with where the event will happen and how guests, equipment and content will move through it.
Ask for the contracted space name and a floor plan. If the program uses more than one area, mark what happens in each and how audio, video and cameras will connect.
| Space | Advertised maximum | AV listed by the venue |
|---|---|---|
| Full Arena | Up to 18,500 | Halo Board, sound and digital branding |
| Outdoor Plaza | Up to 6,000 | LED screen, sound and lighting |
| Court B | Up to 500 | LED screen, sound, blackout curtains and adjustable lighting |
| Clubs & Lounges | 400 to 895, depending on space | Sound and customizable screens |
| ANNEX | Up to 2,500 | No included AV system specified on the page |
Plan the content for each display
The arena offering mentions the Halo Board and digital branding; Outdoor Plaza and Court B advertise LED screens. These details help map the visual experience, but the public page does not specify delivery resolution, signal inputs, screen zones or who operates playback.
Before producing final media, request the content specifications for the booked space, delivery and testing deadlines, and whether live feeds, prepared files or both are accepted. For ANNEX, ask what AV is included rather than assuming a display system.
Shape the sound system around the event
Full Arena, Outdoor Plaza, Court B and some lounges advertise built-in sound. For a conference, show or reception, list voices, music, playback sources, listening areas and recording needs. The venue team can then identify what its system covers and what needs additional equipment.
If cameras or streaming are part of the program, allow for an audio feed test. A system serving the room does not by itself define the recording mix.
Get setup details for the booked space
With the floor plan and equipment list, confirm the equipment entry route, control and camera positions, setup and test window, and available power and network in that area. The commercial page does not publish those details by space.
For flown structures or equipment with concentrated loads, request the applicable plans, limits and process before sizing the design. Arena conditions do not automatically carry over to a lounge or Court B.
Bring a useful brief to the venue discussion
Gather the space, date, program, expected audience, floor plan, content, feeds and equipment, camera positions and setup sequence. Identify the built-in systems you want to use and the information still needed.
Published capacity figures are commercial maxima. Confirm the attendance and layout for the actual event with the venue once its format and setup are known.
Frequently asked questions
Is Halo Board use included with an arena booking?
The official page lists it in the Full Arena offering but does not publish usage scope, content formats or operating terms. Request those details for your event proposal.
Do Court B and Outdoor Plaza have the same AV?
No. The page lists an LED display, sound and lighting for both, while Court B also has blackout curtains and a different indoor format. Confirm the system and connections for the chosen space.
Can I plan rigging from this page?
It does not publish rigging points or loads. If the design includes flown equipment, request the technical documents for that space before sizing or booking the installation.
