State Farm Arena: plan AV for a private event
State Farm Arena offers very different spaces for meetings, receptions and productions. Its official booking page lists capacities and some displays, while directing event-specific AV requests to the venue. Start with the booked space and event program before choosing equipment.
Choose the space for the event format
The Arena Bowl is presented for large events and productions; Players Club can host a reception with a prominent display. Press Conference Room suits smaller meetings and panels. Practice Court and Topgolf Swing Suites serve other formats. Do not apply one space’s capacity or conditions to another.
The site also lists Concert Club and Delta SKY360° Club, each with a published capacity of 600. A club, room, court and bowl call for different audience layouts, loading routes and image and sound positions.
| Space | Published capacity | AV or use mentioned |
|---|---|---|
| Arena Bowl | 13,000 | Four corner boards and a center-hung scoreboard |
| Players Club | 800 | 32 × 9 ft TV |
| Press Conference Room | 100 | Room for meetings, panels or breakouts; ask about AV |
| Practice Court | 500 | Space for meetings and events; ask about AV |
| Topgolf Swing Suites | 36 | Simulators and HDTVs |
Plan what each display needs to show
The bowl lists four corner boards and a center-hung scoreboard; Players Club lists a 32 × 9 ft TV. The booking page does not say every display is available for a private event or publish resolutions, inputs or playback control. Specify what needs to appear, when, and who will run it.
Topgolf Swing Suites have HDTVs and simulators. If you need to show a presentation or branding, confirm the specific use before producing final assets.
Match sound to the actual program
A panel in Press Conference Room, a reception in Players Club and a presentation in the bowl need different coverage and microphones. Share the number of speakers, music, videos and listening areas; add a separate feed if recording or streaming is planned.
The booking page invites AV inquiries but does not identify the systems, connectors or services included in each space. Request those details for the room you book.
Confirm conditions for the booked space
Use the floor plan and program to review stage, display, control and camera positions, cable paths, power, network, load-in, testing and load-out time. Published capacity does not establish attendance for your specific layout.
If the design involves suspended equipment, substantial loads or connections to venue displays, request the documentation and procedure for the selected space before finalizing the system.
Send a brief the team can act on
Include the date, space, format, attendance, program, floor plan if available, content, signal sources, sound, cameras and schedule. Identify which venue equipment you hope to use and what additional equipment is needed.
GLMedia can support the audiovisual equipment and its preparation, installation or operation according to the agreed event scope.
Frequently asked questions
Can a private event use the Arena Bowl scoreboard?
The venue lists a center-hung scoreboard and four corner boards, but the booking page does not specify their event-use terms. Confirm availability, content format and operation with the venue before including them in the design.
Does the Players Club TV accept my presentation feed?
The page gives its size, 32 × 9 ft, but not its inputs or control method. Request the space’s signal specifications and arrange a test.
Does the published capacity apply to every layout?
Not necessarily. The site’s figures describe commercial spaces; a stage, tables, equipment and circulation may change the final layout. Confirm the proposed event capacity with the venue.
