We can provide installation, fixture focusing and removal for your room, stage or booth. Share any plans or photos you have; we review positions, available power and access times to organize the setup.
Add programming or an operator for entrances, scene changes and effects during the show. We work from the running order and rehearsal schedule and review the console to be used. These services are priced separately from equipment rental so you can choose the support you need.

This project used approximately 40 uplights rated 6 × 9 W, together with LED and audio. Those project fixtures are distinct from the 26 battery uplights rated 6 × 18 W listed in the current catalog.

Use the inventory to compare equipment. From your inquiry, we prepare a proposal detailing fixtures, accessories, crew and schedule and check equipment availability for your event.
What it does
Start with what needs to be seen: a presenter at a lectern, a product on a stand, the stage or the room. We can quote the fixtures alone or include lighting design, programming and an operator. If the event is filmed, include the camera positions in the brief.
$245 USD / day
Equipment rental only. Pickup and return at our warehouse.
Delivery, setup, operation and taxes are separate. Final configuration is confirmed in the quote.

Uplights add color to walls and scenery; they are not a substitute for light on a presenter’s face. A lectern needs coverage in one position, while a presenter walking across the stage needs a wider lit area. Send the stage layout and camera positions, including any LED wall behind the speakers. We can quote presenter lighting separately from the room’s decorative lighting. For a filmed event, check both together in the camera image before the audience arrives.

Alongside lighting fixtures and control, GLMedia carries 24 × 24 and 36 × 36 inch aluminum base plates and 5, 8 and 10 ft truss sections. These components can be requested for a custom technical setup.

Base dimensions are width × length; truss dimensions indicate section length. The combination of base, truss, fixtures and ballast is defined for the setup. A section length does not by itself represent an approved tower height.

You can start with an idea of what you want to light. Share the date and venue if you know them, the areas to highlight and whether cameras will be used. We help you choose equipment rental, setup, programming or operation; plans and photos are useful but optional.
Start with your lighting idea
Send the date and venue, and tell us what you want to light: presenters, a stage, an exhibition booth or the room. Photos or a floor plan help us understand the space. Mention any filming and whether you need equipment only, setup, programming or an operator; a fixture list is optional.
Request a lighting quote ↗Lighting rental questions ↗WhatsAppThe button opens Contact with this lighting page as a reference, which you can change or remove. Enter your name, email and message and send your inquiry when ready. You can start with an idea while the date, plans or fixture models are still being decided; we review equipment and prepare a proposal around what you share.
You can attach up to three JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF files to the inquiry (4 MB each, 10 MB total). For a larger plan or rider, email us or arrange how to share it through WhatsApp. You can also start by describing the space without an attachment.
Ask or share plans by emailThat depends on the full equipment load and the circuits available. Send the venue's electrical information and tell us what other equipment shares the supply. LED panels, processing, sound and lighting must be considered together. We identify the required circuits and connectors for the selected system and coordinate the final distribution with the venue and qualified personnel.
A reception with a fixed lighting look may need setup and initial adjustments; a show with speaker entrances, videos and live music calls for changes during the program. We can add an operator and coordinate cues with your production team. The running order and rehearsal schedule help us plan programming and operator hours, including the end of the event. Setup, programming and operation can be priced separately.
Send the date, venue and areas you want to light: a lectern, stage, booth, walls or a dance floor. A floor plan or a few photos help us see distances, ceiling height and possible fixture positions. Tell us whether there will be filming and when we can set up, rehearse and remove the equipment. You do not need a fixture list to ask for a quote. If you already have a lighting plot or rider, send that too.
Because lighting that looks steady to the eye can flicker or show bands on camera. Test with the actual cameras, frame rate and shutter settings intended for the event, including slow motion if it is planned. Check the lighting at the levels used in the show, not only at full output. Some fixtures allow the LED frequency to be adjusted; the available settings depend on the model. Lighting and camera operators should check the result together before recording. A fixture being LED does not by itself guarantee a clean camera image.
Yes. You can rent the fixtures for your own crew to install and operate. Send the models, quantities, rental dates and console you will use. If you already have a show file, include the fixture modes and DMX patch—the universes and starting addresses assigned to the lights—so the operator can check that the console and fixtures match. Agree on the power and control cables, mounting accessories and cases included before pickup. You can add programming or show operation as separate services alongside the rental.
The battery powers the fixture; control may use a fixed setting, a remote or a wireless DMX system compatible with that model. To plan runtime, we review when the lights first turn on, including setup and rehearsal, and when they turn off. Color and output affect power use, so we compare the published maximum runtime with the planned look. We can then plan operating and charging times and any power or control cables needed for that configuration.
A wash spreads light across an area; a beam creates a narrow shaft used as an effect; a profile lets you define a more precise lit area. They are not interchangeable just because their power ratings are similar. For a presenter, product or stage, we need the throw distance, coverage and available positions. Camera use also affects the choice and the test before the event.
The guest count does not determine the number of uplights. We look at the walls, columns and other surfaces you want to highlight, their color, and where fixtures can sit without blocking circulation. A floor plan and a few room photos let us propose spacing and identify gaps caused by furniture or doors. A continuous wash and isolated accents require different layouts, even in the same room.
We can evaluate floor positions or freestanding supports for lighting without ceiling suspension. We review fixture weight, bases, height, stabilization, access around each support and venue rules. Working height is determined for the complete assembly: a truss section length does not by itself establish an approved tower height. That review helps us select an arrangement suited to the room and the intended look.
Haze helps make light beams visible in the air. To include it in the design, we coordinate venue approval and review fire detection, ventilation and operating conditions. We can compare looks with and without haze to choose an approach suited to the venue. If you choose this effect, we quote it as an additional option with the machine, compatible fluid and operator, and account for any required permissions.
Outdoor suitability depends on the exact fixture and its rated protection, plus the connectors, power distribution and control equipment used with it. Being battery-powered or LED does not make a light rainproof. Send the location, exposure and operating hours so the setup can be reviewed. Protection, wind and weather contingencies must be planned for the site; an indoor fixture should not be treated as suitable merely because it is under a roof.
A suitable fixture can project a static logo using a gobo: a patterned insert placed in the light path. For animation, changing messages or more detailed artwork, video projection or an LED display may be a better fit. The choice depends on the surface, ambient light, projection distance and required image size.
Share the artwork, a photo or plan of the surface and the event date. We use that information to select a compatible fixture and prepare a custom-gobo option, allowing for manufacturing time. The proposal details the final artwork, fixture, gobo and setup so you can review the complete arrangement.
Yes. Fans and motorized movements can be audible near an open microphone, particularly during a quiet interview, a podcast or a speech. The risk depends on the fixture, its position and the microphone setup. Some fixtures offer fan modes, but these vary by model and may change light output or respond to temperature.
Mark the microphones and filming positions on the plan before choosing the lights. Allow for listening tests with the fixtures running in the intended look, not just switched on at low output. If noise is audible, review placement or choose a more suitable fixture. Do not block ventilation to make a light quieter.
Ask with an initial idea, or compare equipment only, installation and programming or operation again. The fixture list can be defined later.

If your crew will program or operate the lights, compare the fixture’s model and mode with the console profile before building cues. The guide covers channel blocks, coarse and fine control, virtual channels and multicell fixtures, with checks tied to specific console versions.
