How we prepare the festival screens

With production, we arrange weather monitoring and the steps for stopping or relocating the program when conditions require it.

Frequently asked questions
Can we add structure and power?+
Yes. We can quote them or integrate the systems provided by your production team. We review screen size, ground conditions, support and electrical information with the venue to prepare connections and installation. The proposal details support, setup, connection and operation, along with venue-controlled services and any engineering the system requires. If you are still developing the stage, we can start with a sketch and work through these points with you.
Can the screen combine live cameras and sponsor content?+
Yes. We can switch between cameras, videos and sponsor content, or place them in separate screen areas using a processor that supports that layout. We prepare inputs, content dimensions and the switching sequence with show direction. We also review audio and a backup image for any source that loses its signal. We test that sequence before the audience arrives.
Can you prepare a screen for a beach event?+
We can assess the location and exposure to sand and salt air to determine suitable equipment and protection. Use on a beach, in sand or with direct salt-air exposure requires prior written approval and project-specific pricing. Share a photo or the intended location so we can assess feasibility before preparing the proposal.

Practical questions before you book
How do we prepare for possible rain or wind?
With your production team and venue, we prepare a weather plan before installation: suitable equipment, support, electrical protection, monitoring and a designated person to call a stop or relocation. We review the whole system because the LED panel’s outdoor rating alone does not cover cables, connections and other equipment. Operating criteria follow the equipment and site conditions, with an indoor alternative or schedule changes considered. Rescheduling and cancellation costs are detailed in the proposal.
Can an indoor LED screen be used outside under a roof?
We select the system for its actual exposure. A roof may provide partial protection, but we also review the panel model, connectors, rain, condensation, wind and electrical protection. A photo of the position and the planned time outdoors help us assess the setup. When conditions call for outdoor-rated equipment, we propose that system.
How much rehearsal time should we allow?
We work it out from the program: presentations, videos, remote guests, cameras and live cues. A simple presentation and a multicamera show need different preparation times. We organize content, microphone and transition checks with the people calling or carrying out the cues. We coordinate access to the space and participation by artists or presenters so rehearsal can test the actual sequence.
Can the stage backdrop and side screens show different images?
Yes. The backdrop can carry artist visuals while side screens show live camera close-ups for viewers farther away. This live image magnification is commonly called IMAG. We review screen position, framing and signal delay to make the image useful to those viewers. We prepare separate outputs and the cue sequence, starting with a stage sketch and audience layout if that is what you have. The proposal separates LED, processing and, when needed, cameras and operators.
What do you prepare when an LED system travels between shows?
We plan each date around the route, screen designs and venue access. For repeated packing, transport and assembly, we review panel and case dimensions, truck space, handling, support accessories and maintenance access. Pixel maps, processor configurations and the cable plan travel with the system to help each crew identify the setup. We plan compatible spares and checks between dates, then calculate a setup window for the conditions at each venue.
How do you organize LED across several festival stages?
We build a plan for each stage around simultaneous schedules, live cameras and artist playback. Every stage running at the same time needs its feeds, processing and operating resources available; that information guides equipment, cabling and crew positions. We also allocate load-in routes, case storage, maintenance access and compatible spares. A preliminary schedule and an outline of what your team is preparing are enough to begin sizing equipment and crew. We distinguish multiple screens on one stage from systems operating independently on other stages.
