Frequently asked questions
Can you work with the venue's in-house AV team?+
Yes. Send the hotel’s AV proposal and the contact responsible for the room. We compare equipment and services, agree where GLMedia connects to the house system and identify who handles power, rigging, internet and operation. This is particularly useful when you only need to add a screen, cameras or extra microphones. Any services reserved for the hotel remain with its designated provider.
Can you include cameras or streaming?+
Yes. Tell us whether the camera image is for the room screens, a live stream, a recording or all three. We plan camera positions, switching, audio feeds and operators around those destinations. Streaming also requires a suitable internet connection and a platform test. The quote identifies recording formats, file delivery and any editing separately so you know what you will receive after the event.
Can we rent equipment without operators?+
Yes, if your team can install and operate the selected equipment and the intended use is suitable. Send the models or system you need, quantities, dates and pickup or delivery plan. We agree on accessories, packing, handover checks and return times before the rental. If you need help with part of the work, installation or an operator can be quoted separately.

Practical questions before you book
How do we keep slides readable from the back of the room?
Send a sample presentation and the seating plan. We review screen dimensions, the farthest viewer, text size, contrast and any camera image sharing the screen. A finer pixel pitch alone cannot fix a slide filled with tiny text. Depending on the room, a larger display, simpler slide layout or additional screens may be more useful.
How many microphones should I request for a panel discussion?
Tell us how many people speak at the same time, whether they sit or move, and whether the audience will ask questions. We can compare handheld, headset and lavalier options for the program. Wireless coordination, the mixer, monitoring and the operator must be planned together. Do not count only the speakers if the moderator or audience also needs a microphone.
How much rehearsal time should we schedule?
It depends on the program. Send the number of speakers, presentations, videos, remote guests and live cues. A simple slide presentation and a multi-camera show need different preparation. We plan time for content checks, microphones, transitions and the people who call or perform the cues. Rehearsal needs access to the actual room and relevant presenters, not only the equipment.
