InsightsEDU 2026A large-format LED wall. Supported from the floor.

The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

For InsightsEDU 2026 at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, GLMedia installed a straight 49.2 × 16.4 ft (15 × 5 m) LED wall using original Unilumin ground support. The 807 sq ft (75 m²) display formed the visual backdrop for the conference presentations. GLMedia also installed pipe & drape in the pool area.

The panoramic screen sat behind the speakers to display their presentation content. The photographs show it in use during InsightsEDU, with the audience seated in the ballroom.

We installed the wall on the floor using the original Unilumin ground-support system, without suspending it from the hotel ceiling. This was the solution used for this ballroom and this large-format screen.

The separate pipe & drape installation in the pool area was also part of GLMedia’s work. The photographs on this page document the indoor conference and control area; they do not show that pool-area installation.

GLMEDIA · CONFIRMED TECHNICAL SCOPE

What GLMedia delivered for this project.

01

Straight LED wall

Installation of a 15 × 5 m rectangular LED wall. The 3:1 panoramic format provides a single, wide display surface for conference content.

02

Original Unilumin ground support

The LED assembly was supported from the floor using the manufacturer’s original system. The installation did not rely on ceiling suspension for this wall.

03

Pipe & drape

GLMedia also installed pipe & drape in the pool area, as a separate part of the event setup.

For a new event, the floor-supported design is checked against the screen size, available depth, floor loads, clearances and venue requirements. Ground support avoids ceiling suspension for the LED wall; it does not remove the need for structural planning or hotel coordination.

A short record of the venue access.

This 1.8-second clip shows a vertical LED display beside the Las Olas III room sign. It provides a visual record of the entrance area, separate from the main 15 × 5 m wall shown in the photographs.

Questions about this installation.

Has GLMedia worked at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort?

Yes. For InsightsEDU 2026, GLMedia installed a straight 15 × 5 m LED wall with original Unilumin ground support, and pipe & drape in the pool area. This case documents that work with photographs supplied by GLMedia.

Was the 15 × 5 m screen suspended from the ceiling?

No. The screen was ground-stacked using original Unilumin support. For another event, the support configuration must be adapted to the room, floor and screen requirements.

How large was the LED surface?

The screen measured 15 m wide by 5 m high: 75 m², approximately 807 sq ft. Its physical aspect ratio was 3:1. Pixel resolution depends on the installed panel model and is not inferred from these dimensions.

Can we request a similar installation for a hotel conference?

Yes. Send the date, hotel, room, intended screen dimensions and schedule. GLMedia can quote LED and technical services, with additional audio, lighting, cameras, staging or pipe & drape according to the requested scope. A new configuration is designed for the venue rather than copied without checking its requirements.
