How a controlled curtain drop works.
A Kabuki system holds a properly selected drape in position and releases it on a controlled cue. The curtain drops clear to reveal the object, people, stage or visual statement behind it.
You can book the Kabuki system to fit into your production or ask us for a package with countdown content, lighting, audio, LED displays, playback, crew, and approved special effects. We review the venue, support, dimensions, and show sequence to define the equipment and tasks to include.
The drop is a rehearsed, one-shot show effect. The online preview and builder do not approve a mounting method or replace a venue survey, structural review, safety plan or written quotation.
How the moment works
Preparing and operating the reveal.
Before the event, we test the fabric, release points, and drop zone. We then rehearse the release cue with the video, audio, and lighting operators so the content and curtain drop follow the agreed sequence.
Conceal
The reveal subject is installed and tested behind an appropriately sized drape. The fabric, weight and bottom treatment are selected for the approved layout.
Build anticipation
A spoken cue, countdown, music, lighting look, LED content or combination of show elements focuses attention on the reveal.
Release on cue
The operator triggers the system after the safety check. The drape falls into a controlled clear zone and the show continues into the revealed scene.

Can the system reveal a logo, product, vehicle or person?
Potentially yes. The subject, curtain size, clearance, support method and desired audience view determine the final design. Vehicles and large scenic elements require extra access and spacing review.
Can Kabuki be used outdoors?
Outdoor use requires a site-specific weather, wind, support and fabric review. The final go/no-go decision belongs to the responsible technical lead under the approved event safety plan.
Do you supply the curtain?
Drape can be included after the final color, width, height, fullness, weight and lower-edge treatment are confirmed. Client-supplied fabric must also be reviewed for compatibility and condition.
Can you synchronize the drop with a countdown?
Yes. The quoted scope can coordinate playback, LED content, audio and lighting cues with the release operator. Complex or regulated effects require the appropriate approvals and providers.
