LED and audiovisual services for Miami Airport Convention Center
GLMedia supplied LED systems and technical support for Mining Disrupt 2022 at Miami Airport Convention Center. For your next exhibition, send the booth or hall plan, screen positions, content and operating hours. We can quote LED and playback alone or add sound, lighting, cameras and crew.

Equipment, crew and venue services
MACC publishes general utility rules and a meeting-planner policy revised in 2019. Ask the event manager for the version applicable to your booking before treating its house-audio or rigging terms as final.
| Activity | Proposed responsibility | Approval to confirm | Who quotes it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Equipment rental | GLMedia: equipment listed in the agreed scope. | Outside-supplier access and permitted equipment. | GLMedia; venue services separately. |
| Setup and dismantling | GLMedia or the venue-designated team, as authorized. | Work allocation, load-in times and permitted cable routes. | The party performing the work; identify it in each order. |
| Audio, lighting and playback operation | Named operators for the contracted systems and hours. | House interfaces, rehearsal schedule and show responsibilities. | GLMedia for its operators; the venue for its services. |
| Technical supervision | GLMedia supervises its contracted equipment scope and coordinates interfaces. | Who supervises each supplier and who may perform the work. | Identify supervision separately from hands-on labor. |
| House power, rigging and system connections | Providers assigned or approved by the venue. | Current event manual, technical plans and service orders. | The assigned providers; request itemized venue charges. |
The compact LED reference price does not automatically include audio, lighting, venue services or delivery to every destination. Separate equipment, transport, setup, supervision and operation in the proposal. A floor-supported structure still needs an approved footprint and review of floor loading and the proposed configuration.
These are published general requirements. Confirm the current event manual, supplier approvals and final service orders with the venue for your date.
A production plan built around the venue
At Mining Disrupt 2022, GLMedia supplied 220 m² of LED screens and technical support. The project video shows the screens used at this event. For a new booking, equipment and crew are quoted for your layout, dates and operating schedule. See the Mining Disrupt 2022 LED project
We can supply LED and video or coordinate sound, lighting, cameras, staging, power distribution and crew. Choose equipment rental, installation and operation according to what your production team needs.
What must be approved before production?
Confirm where the equipment can go and how it will get there. The exhibitor manual and your agreement with the organizer should establish load-in times, floor protection, power connections, rigging restrictions and the services you must book through an appointed provider. We use that information to prepare the technical proposal. Any item still awaiting approval needs to be resolved with the organizer or venue before installation; a GLMedia quote does not replace that approval.
What can GLMedia provide at Miami Airport Convention Center?
We can quote LED walls and floors, processing, Resolume playback, cameras, switching, recording, streaming, monitors, timers, intercom, projection, sound, lighting, staging, pipe and drape, power distribution and crew. Your proposal lists the equipment, operators and any specialist services to be coordinated with the venue.
How do we coordinate with an in-house AV provider?
Share the venue contract and in-house AV quote with us. When outside vendors are allowed, we agree who supplies equipment, power, rigging, internet and crew before load-in. GLMedia quotes its part of the work; required venue services remain with the provider named in your contract.
What information speeds up a quote?
Start with the event date, venue, audience size and what you need. A room or booth plan, schedule and presentation files help us recommend equipment. If you are still choosing the layout, we can prepare an initial option and identify what needs a site visit or venue confirmation.
Send the date, venue and what you need
GLMedia will review access, schedules, technical requirements, venue rules and the responsibilities of every supplier before issuing a proposal.
Request a proposalPractical questions before you book
Who arranges badges and access for the technical crew?
The organizer or venue confirms the registration process and submission deadline. We coordinate the crew information required for our work, while approval remains with the responsible event or security team. Confirm the service entrance, check-in location, permitted hours and unloading authorization. Guest tickets and event admission are separate from technical crew credentials.
Can your crew perform every task inside a convention center?
Not necessarily. The venue, show organizer or appointed contractor may control unloading, rigging, electrical connections or specific labor tasks. Send the exhibitor manual and labor rules before ordering. We identify the work GLMedia can perform and the services you must order through the venue. Availability of our equipment does not override those rules.
Can the room be changed from a meeting to a dinner on the same day?
Send both layouts and the time available between programs. We identify equipment that can stay in place and what needs to move, be rewired or tested again. The changeover requires its own crew and access plan while catering and other vendors work. A short break in the agenda is not automatically enough time to rebuild a stage or LED wall.
Questions to resolve before booking
Can an outside mixer connect to MACC meeting-room sound?
The published policy revised in 2019 assigns house-sound use to the in-house AV contractor. Before including a connection in our quote, ask the event manager to confirm the current rule, provider, patch format and charge. Identify separately the equipment GLMedia supplies and the service required to connect it.
Are normal show lighting levels available during load-in?
MACC’s general information describes reduced lighting and comfort levels during move-in and move-out. Ask which areas will be lit for your work and whether additional work lighting is required. Keep temporary work lights separate from show fixtures and include their approved power and cable routes in the installation plan.
Who confirms the electrical service for our AV equipment?
MACC’s general information identifies the center as its electrical and utility contractor. Submit the selected equipment demand and outlet locations to the assigned event team. Confirm who orders, installs and pays for the service before arrival. Equipment rental does not by itself reserve a circuit or authorize distribution from an available socket.
