MIAMI BALLROOM
Floor-to-ceiling windows and Brickell views make daylight and image contrast part of the display decision.
OUTDOOR PROGRAMS
The hotel publishes terraces and pool-area options that require a separate weather, sound and power plan.
Indoor rooms need confirmed ceiling height, screen sightlines, stage depth, power and load-in routes. Spaces with strong natural light require display technology and placement that protect contrast. Outdoor terraces add wind, rain, heat, ambient sound, cable protection and weather-rated equipment requirements.
GLMedia can develop a single show plan while keeping those two operating environments separate. The plan identifies what must come from the hotel, what GLMedia can quote, and what changes if the event moves indoors because of weather.
Floor-to-ceiling windows can make projection less effective, especially for detailed presentations. Confirm the room orientation, event hours and shade control. Direct-view LED or high-brightness displays may be appropriate, but screen size and brightness should be matched to viewing distance, content and the approved room layout.
Outdoor planning requires the hotel’s weather policy, wind limits, rain plan, permitted sound level, power source, cable route, equipment protection and strike trigger. The technical package should specify which equipment is weather-rated, how it is ballasted or secured, and where the program moves if conditions change.
Share the hotel agreement and in-house quote before committing equipment. GLMedia can define signal, power, internet, labor, schedule and room interfaces, retain required hotel services and remove duplicated items. Final responsibilities should be written into the technical proposal and production schedule.
GLMedia can quote LED displays, processing and playback, cameras, switching, IMAG, recording, streaming, confidence monitors, audio, lighting, staging, pipe and drape, power distribution, technical direction and bilingual crews. Specialized requirements may be fulfilled through qualified external resources and described accurately in the proposal.
