VENUE FACTS + GLMEDIA TECHNICAL PLANNING
Hollywood: design for the contracted hall, not the entire complex.
Hilton’s official event guide separates Great Halls, Grand Ballroom and Diplomat Ballrooms. A multi-room convention requires a room-by-room plan, even when the event shares one hotel name.

A technical plan for this venue.
01
Large general sessions and multiple feeds
Plan the main LED canvas, camera IMAG, presentation sources and confidence monitors as a signal matrix. We choose processing, switching, playback and operating positions for the actual number of simultaneous destinations.
02
Exhibition and breakout systems
The main stage is not the entire convention. Booths and concurrent rooms need separate source lists, sound coverage, power orders and operator assignments. We can supply a focused discipline or coordinate the requested technical package.
03
A schedule that includes changeovers
A room changing from plenary to dinner needs time for repositioning, signal checks and rehearsals. Define access windows, storage, protection and house-service handoffs with the venue before treating a show-day rate as the complete job.
GLMEDIA PRICING REFERENCE · NOT A HOTEL QUOTE
Compare the equipment. Understand the complete scope.
For The Diplomat Beach Resort, use the standard LED packages as a comparison point, then adapt screen size, hotel access and operating hours to the booked room.
USD 3,650From · one event day · 11.5 × 6.6 ft (3.5 × 2 m) indoor P2.6 LED wall. A compact starting configuration, not a promise to cover every ballroom or audience.
The published reference includes compatible standard ground support, LED processing and one standard presentation input, qualified setup and strike, up to six technician hours during the event day, and local transport within 30 one-way miles of GLMedia’s Miramar location under normal access and working hours.
Hotel/in-house AV fees, power service, rigging, exclusive or union labor, internet, parking, tax, restricted loading, long carries and extra operating hours are separate. Audio, lighting, cameras and staging are not included in this LED reference. Dates, access, availability and final responsibilities are confirmed in the written proposal.
One discipline or a coordinated audiovisual system.
Hire GLMedia for LED and video only, or add sound, lighting, cameras, staging, pipe & drape and technical crew. We support the planner’s or producer’s show without taking over their client relationship. Each proposal identifies equipment, setup, operation and hotel interfaces.
Dock slot, service route, elevator door/cabin size and capacity, and flight-case storage.
Available power, rigging points and rules, floor loads, protection and exclusive house services.
Load-in, testing, rehearsal, show and strike times; COI and venue-specific requirements.
Who contracts each service: equipment, transport, setup, operators, hotel charges and taxes.
Electrical demand and equipment weight are calculated for the selected configuration. Elevator fit is checked against the largest loaded case—not the LED panel alone. Hotel capacities are not final seated capacities once technical equipment is added.
Can I hire GLMedia for an event at The Diplomat Beach Resort?
Yes, when the client and hotel authorize the external technical scope. GLMedia is an independent event technology and audiovisual services company, not the hotel’s in-house or preferred provider. We coordinate the equipment and operation with the venue’s current requirements.
Is The Diplomat in Hollywood, and what name appears on its official site?
Yes. This guide covers the Hollywood resort currently listed by Hilton as Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. Include the specific Great Hall section or ballroom in your request; its combined event spaces must not be confused with the room area you actually booked.
Is USD 3,650 the final price for my hotel event?
No. It is GLMedia’s published starting reference for a compact 11.5 × 6.6 ft indoor P2.6 LED wall for one event day under the listed conditions. Hotel charges, access, schedule and added services can change the total. The linked package page gives three sizes and inclusions; your final scope and price are confirmed in writing.
Can we rent only LED, or add the rest of the AV equipment?
Both options are available by scope: LED and video only, or a coordinated system with sound, lighting, staging, cameras, playback, confidence monitors, timers and technical crew. Producers and planners can keep their client relationship and hire GLMedia for the technical disciplines they need.
